PURIFICATION

CHEMLAND is a functional cosmetics producer which has been achieving customer satisfaction
with its outstanding technological capabilities and quality since it foundation in 1999.

In general, cosmetics has been using paraben, a conventional preservative. However, as paraben was classified as a cancer-inducing material, the cosmetics industry has been replacing paraben with other ingredients.

One of the most noted alternatives for conventional preservative is polyhydric alcohol-based ingredients. Polyhydric alcohol has great moisturizing effect and outstanding antibacterial properties as well as low skin irritation. As it also has great compatibility with various cosmetics ingredients, it is suitable in replacing conventional preservatives

However, polyhydric alcohol available from the market has a unique scent which can negatively influence cosmetics. While it is possible to not notice the scent at initial application, storing the product over an extended period of time and as time progresses after application, strong scent can be generated

In addition to polyhydric alcohol, CHEMLAND also performs synthesizing and purifying of preservatives such as EHG (Ethylhexylglycerin). CHEMLAND will continue to endeavor in developing high-purity and high-quality polyhydric alcohol which retains high preservative properties and zero influence on products.
